Santa Baby

My niece was born just in time for Christmas and what a special gift she is. I was able to photograph her when she was only 4 days old. She was a great model and was a trooper through everything. She is absolutely prefect!

Baby, It's Cold Outside

You would think that it would be easy photographing my own kids right? I actually photographed them twice for our Christmas card this year. I think they are just sick of me having a camera in their faces.

Here are two of my favorites.

Let It Snow!

I photographed my Aunt and Uncle's Family for their Holiday card. I love that they were willing to do whatever I threw at them- snow balls, goofy faces. . . they went all out.

Lovely, Love My Family

The title is a song from Yo Gabba Gabba, which for some reason I am obsessed with these days. My sister laughs that I am so captivated by a kids show. I think it is it’s bizarre nature that I am drawn to. Anyway, this is my adorable nephew!! He is always exploring which kept me moving through out the entire shoot. He can always make me laugh and he is always so thoughtful. He gets that from his wonderful mommy. His good looks are from his Daddy.

oh baby!

These are a few pics from the shoot I did with my brother-in-law and sister-in-law. They were such good sports and allowed me to move there whole house around in order to get these shots. They are having a girl and she already has the best nursery! Her mommy even color coded her drawers. Hehee. . .gotta love that pregnancy nesting!

young love

I had the pleasure to spend this past sweetest day with a couple celebrating their 50th Wedding Anniversary. They still look as happy as they did in their wedding photos! Here are just a few of the many we took that day.

Back to School

I recently photographed my cousin's homecoming pre-party. What a lucky girl! Her parents threw a party for her and all her friends. . .all 120 of them!! They even rented a limo that shuttled them all to the actual dance. My sophomore year I went to 5 homecomings, but I never went to a party like this. It was a blast!

Cruising Together

What a great party.
This couple got married a couple of weeks ago in Arizona and they had another reception for all of their family and friends here in Detroit. It was on a a boat that cruised around on the Detroit river. It was an awesome celebration.

Wooohooo! I finally have my blog up and running for all of you who have been patiently waiting. Thank you! This summer has been quite busy with a new baby and trying to get my business going. But we have been having fun in the process.

For all of you who do not know me, my name is Becca. I have been in the photography profession since I was fifteen. I graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree from College for Creative Studies in 2006. I have worked with many great portrait studios throughout the years and finally felt it was my time to branch out on my own. Being in the industry for so long, I understand what clients are looking for, especially with todays economy. Clients still want quality without breaking the bank and I hope to offer my clients just that. I also want the photographs to feel as if their best friend took the photos for them, so they have that warm comfortable feeling.

Throughout the next few days, I will be updating the blog with more information, such as pricing and more samples. For now, here are a few photographs from my last two sessions. The first is for my really great friend and her adorable twins. Boy, did they keep me going! The second is another great friend who is an incredible singer and song writer. Her second album titled, "Grosse Isle" is coming out this fall and her single "Freezing" is playing on the radio. Enjoy!!
